Most people want to stay in the comfort of their own home as long as they possibly can. However, it is common that care needs increase as illness progresses and physical health declines. Caregiver burnout is real and it is common! Physical and emotional exhaustion, increased stress, limited support and lack of respite are among the top reasons why caregivers burnout and end up physically ill and emotionally drained.
Anam Cara Caregiving in Lander, WY provides custom care in the home to help support needs brought on by debilitating illness or natural end-of-life phases of life. We collaborate with an established medical team (like home health and hospice) to implement an individualized plan of care—so caregivers can stay engaged, connected, and healthy while individuals requiring care are able to experience comfort, quality of life and safety at home. Sarah works with a team of caregivers to offer various services and levels of care to customize individual needs, including chronic illness support, hospice support, and dementia support.
